International Day for the elimination of Violence against women 2015

For the International Day for the elimination of Violence against women the European Commission published the research review conducted within the ENEGE project by Professors Enrique Gracia and Marisol Lila of the University of Valencia entitled "Attitudes towards Violence Against Women in the EU". 

Thi research reveals the still widespread nature of attitudes of acceptability and tolerance of violence against women, linked to victim-blaming and gender stereotypes. This research will help to better define and target awareness-raising activities in this area.

A New Method to Understand Occupational Gender Segregation in European Labour Markets

The Research Review entitled "A New Method to Understand Occupational Gender Segregation in European Labour Markets" has been published on the European Commission DG Justice website on 19 January 2015.

The Research Review is authored by Dr Brendan Burchell, Mr Vincent Hardy, Professor Jill Rubery and Dr Marc Smith.
